Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to serve during the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting in Accomac, VA. The position involves working 37.5 hours per week, five days a week, from August 20, 2025, to June 16, 2026. The role entails serving a caseload across approximately 2-3 school sites, supporting 11 schools that collectively educate 4,600 students. The caseload is shared among four school psychologists and includes students aged 2 through 22.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological testing to assess student needs
- Writing detailed evaluation and assessment reports
- Determining eligibility for specialized services in collaboration with educational teams
Qualifications for this position require:
- Educational Specialist degree (Ed. S.)
- Virginia state certification for school psychologists
- Membership or qualification for NAESP (National Association of Elementary School Principals) standards
