WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As our Food Research and Development Chef, you'll immerse yourself in the hands-on creation, testing, and refinement of new food products in our test kitchen. You'll collaborate closely with our Head Chef and Vice President of Technical Innovation and Culinary Development to bring bold ideas to life-starting with bench samples and scaling up to production-ready versions. On any given day, you might be conducting side-by-side trials with QA and Production, improving product attributes like flavor, color, and texture, or analyzing competitor items to ensure our offerings are industry-leading. You'll also contribute to the development of food safety standards, work on cost-conscious innovation, and support our sales and marketing teams in dazzling customers with your culinary creations. From concept to plate, your creativity and technical skill will be at the heart of everything we do.
Here's what we need from you:
- 2+ years of culinary experience
- Experience in food preparation
- Experience as a research coordinator
- Proficiency with computers, including internet software, inventory software, manufacturing software, order processing systems, spreadsheets, and MS Word
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
