Summary

Peace Early Learning Center is a faith-based early childhood program located in Arvada, Colorado. We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and nurturing Lead Teacher to join our team and guide our three-year-old preschool class. Our program provides a warm, supportive environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.

We follow the Jeffco Public Schools calendar closely, including similar holidays and breaks.
Full-time or part-time position available (Monday–Friday)
Hours: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM or 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

Duties

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans.
• Create and maintain a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Supervise children at all times, ensuring safety and promoting positive interactions.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with students, families, and team members.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Prepare for and conduct parent-teacher conferences twice per year.
• Observe, document, and assess student growth and development.
• Collaborate with other staff to support school-wide initiatives and special events.
• Integrate faith-based principles and values into the daily classroom experience.

Requirements

• Must meet State of Colorado Early Childhood Teacher (ECT/Lead Qualified) requirements.
• Previous preschool teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate curriculum.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• A passion for working with young children in a faith-based setting.
