Job DescriptionA reputable building company in Cranston, RI wants an organized, friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join their staff. This job is a great fit for those aiming to grow their skills within a corporate setting while building key admin and interpersonal skills in a work-focused place.

Responsibilities of the Front Desk Receptionist:
- Greet patrons and guests, delivering a polished and polite initial impression.
- Manage and route incoming calls, pass along notes, and address simple questions.
- Arrange customer meetings and handle schedules.
- Manage the arrangement and care of online and paper records.
- Sort and send arriving and departing mail and shipments.
- Keep up tidiness and order in the lobby and shared office spaces.
- Help with paper preparation like scanning, copying, and transmitting documents.
- Complete data input and standard office tasks to aid daily activities.
- Give clerical aid to workers as necessary.
Qualifications of the Front Desk Receptionist:
- A secondary school graduation or equivalent is needed.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong care in detail and planning skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to perform alone and as part of a group.
- Professional conduct and a firm sense of dependability.
- Experience in managing private info.
- Previous experience in service or clerical roles is preferred.
- Past work in a law or building admin role is preferred.
