Position Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Civil Leads to oversee and execute all phases of civil construction on telecom sites. This includes raw land development, site upgrades, and maintenance ticket execution. Ideal candidates will bring leadership, deep civil knowledge, and hands-on experience with wireless site infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee crews during all civil phases of telecom construction
- Perform and supervise site clearing, grading, and excavation
- Install foundations (pier, pad, or mat), equipment pads, and grounding systems
- Manage trenching, backfilling, and conduit installation for power/fiber routes
- Oversee compound builds, fencing, and site access development
- Coordinate staging and prep for tower erection and crane operations
- Ensure full compliance with site plans, safety procedures, and construction standards
- Operate and direct use of heavy machinery and equipment
- Maintain accurate field documentation and daily reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of telecom civil construction experience (lead/supervisory experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of the raw land build process and wireless site infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret civil and structural site drawings
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
- Willingness to travel and work in diverse outdoor environments
- Able to pass a drug screen and background check
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven heavy equipment operation (with certifications preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple field crews and interface with project managers
