Stephens College invites applications for part-time (adjunct) instructors for the following courses in our Communication Design program:

COMD 393 Design Researchis a required course in the BFA and emphasizes research and analytic methods leading to creative conceptualization and design solutions.

Courses are 3 credit hours and scheduled on our new block system, in which courses meet daily for 3.5 weeks for approximately 3 hours per day. COMD 393 is scheduled for Block 1 (Aug. 25 – Sept. 17).

Requirements:

• M.A., MFA, or PhD in Graphic Design or related field.
• Expertise in design software and web applications.
• Strong commitment to undergraduate education.
• Portfolio of work showcasing technical proficiency.
• Candidates with previous collegiate teaching experience are preferred.
