T&M Associates is seeking a GIS Solutions Engineer 2 to join our growing Geospatial Solutions Team. This mid-level role is ideal for a GIS professional with strong technical skills, experience with Esri technologies, and a passion for developing modern geospatial solutions. The successful candidate will support a wide range of GIS initiatives across municipal, utilities, transportation, environmental, and private-sector clients.
The position may be based out of our Philadelphia, King of Prussia, or Mt. Laurel offices, with opportunities for hybrid work.
Responsibilities:
GIS Application & Workflow Development
- Develop and deploy mobile data collection tools using Esri Field Maps, Survey123, ArcGIS Collector, and related platforms.
- Build and configure ArcGIS Online (AGOL) web applications and dashboards using standard templates and capabilities (without customization).
- Support the design and execution of data collection workflows to ensure accurate and efficient field operations.
- Assist in data transformation and automation processes, including ETL operations.
GIS Database & System Administration
- Develop, maintain, and manage Enterprise GIS databases, including geodatabase design and administrative tasks.
- Perform ArcGIS Enterprise configuration tasks under the guidance of senior staff.
Technical Support & Project Assistance
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients, escalating complex issues to senior GIS staff as needed.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other professionals to integrate GIS solutions into broader project workflows.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences, translating GIS concepts into understandable insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of professional GIS experience.
- Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Field Maps, Survey123, and related Esri solutions.
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Geodatabases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- GISP Certification (preferred or ability to obtain).
- Experience with Python for geoprocessing, ETL, or automation (preferred).
- Esri Technical Certifications (GIS Desktop, Enterprise, or Specialty certifications preferred).
- Experience with data pipelines, APIs, or web GIS technologies is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GIS principles, mapping, analysis, and data management.
- Ability to communicate clearly, manage priorities, and work independently or as part of a team.
T&M Associates is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws, including the New Jersey Equal Pay Act. T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $80,000-$103,000. The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
