Job Description
We are seeking a Front Of The House Server to join our team at Rooster Cafe. In this role, you'll take customer orders, serve food and beverages, bus tables and help keep the cafe running smoothly. Responsibilities also include, setting up and breaking down the dining area, prepping food and assisting wherever necessary. This is a hands on position that requires physical work, including lifting full dish bins, chairs and tables. Please consider these requirements carefully before applying.
WE ARE HIRING IMMEDIATELY FOR RECURRING SHIFTS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK.
***MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK EVERY SATURDAY FROM 10am-3:45pm.***
Responsibilities:
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Take orders via our Cake system, handle to go orders as well as Door Dash and Uber Eats orders as well.
- You will be trained to make espresso drinks such as cappuccinos, and lattes using an Italian espresso machine
- Explain to guests about menu items
- Clean and prepare the dining areas
- Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
- Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields is a plus
- Ability to build rapport with guests
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
