Job DescriptionSouth Florida Mechanical Services LLC. Is searching for an experienced Project Manager to handle the day-to-day operations of our statewide Construction Projects, local Service Accounts, Equipment Repairs and Replacements. Overnight travel is a requirement.

You should be an experienced leader with knowledge of all aspects of HVACR troubleshooting, HVACR service and installation, and be able to coach other technicians or varying skill levels over the phone or in person.

This is a key position at SFMS and requires the following key skills:

6. Problem-Solving: Build structured approaches to analyze challenges, weigh options, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
7. Budget Management: Gain expertise in creating, monitoring, and controlling project budgets to avoid overruns and ensure financial efficiency.
8. Adaptability: Stay flexible and open to changes in project scope, technology, or team dynamics to maintain progress.
9. Technical Skills: Familiarize yourself with project management tools, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), and industry-specific technologies.
10. Team Management: Develop skills to delegate tasks, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration among team members.
11. Critical Thinking: Use logical analysis to make informed decisions and anticipate project challenges.
12. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders by understanding their needs and keeping them informed throughout the project.
13. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain clear and concise records of project progress, milestones, and outcomes for evaluation and communication.
14. Negotiation: Hone negotiation skills to manage contracts, resolve disputes, and align team goals with project objectives.
15. Active Listening: Practice attentive listening to understand team concerns, stakeholder feedback, and project requirements

Compensation is commensurate with experience. Company truck provided with gas card. Company pays 50% Medical Dental after probation period. 401k with matching available. 5 days PTO per year. Paid sick days. Paid vacation days after a year.
