Desired Skills/Experience:
- Experience working in a similar Data Reporting/Data Analytics type role surrounding Health Insurance Claims data access and reporting: claims, approvals, denials, updates, insurance claims status, etc.
- Experience working in a similar role with ongoing internal or external user interaction including: user requirements gathering, a mix of technical DB reporting and presentations/explanations to users, adjusting-changing DB reports based on user needs and requests; experience working as the 'voice of the user' when interacting with other internal teams is a strong plus.
- Solid Database Skills and Knowledge including strong Database coding fundamentals: SQL vs. NoSQL, schemas, modeling, indexing, normalization, complex queries, joins, common table expressions, etc.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or AWS Redis (rds) and/or Aurora is preferred...we can consider experience with other databases
- Must Be Self-Motivated with an eager-willing personality
- Must have very strong Oral communication skills
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree is strongly preferred.
Pluses:
- Experience, training or certification with DataBricks and/or SnowFlake
- Experience working for a small company or a startup company
