Duration: 3+ Months
Shift: One worker will be 8am-430pm
One worker will work 9am-530pm
Details:
· The Material Handler position has a variety of different job functions such.as but not limited to; checking incoming freight, pick and packing of outgoing material, and processing external paperwork for shipment through Various domestic and international carriers and forwarders.
· Responsible for checking inbound material from outside vendors. and internal shipping points that forward stock material in Boston for shipments to domestic and international carriers.
· Responsible for pulling and packing finished good from the shelves and processing them for shipment.
· Process domestic and international paperwork for outgoing material.
· Assist with Cycle Count / Area Count process
· Work with Inventory Control personnel to label and store incoming materials.
1-3 years of experience is ideal.
Skills:
· Must be able to lift more than 60 lbs.
· Must be able to stand on their feet for more than 4 hours straight.
· Must be able to move Lead crates and operate a pallet jack.
· Must be able to bend up and down frequently throughout the day.
· Must have the ability to walk up and down the stairs.
· Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word / Excel)
Education:
HS Diploma.
