Job DescriptionA warm and nurturing daycare in Merrick is seeking an experienced, caring teacher to support our After Care program. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, and enjoys working with young children. The After Care Teacher will work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a safe, engaging, and structured environment. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, supervising play, and encouraging children to explore, learn, and grow through creativity and positive interaction. Hours:
<ul>
<li>3pm - 5 pm on Mon-Thursdays</li>
<li>2pm - 4 pm (end times vary) on Fridays</li>
<li>We also have subbing/floating/part time assistant opportunities during the regular school day.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
 Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Experience working with young children ages 12 months and up.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively</li>
</ul>
