Job Title: Data Integration Specialist

Job Summary: The Data Integration Specialist is a critical, customer-facing role responsible for leading data migration and conversion projects for new and existing clients. This role involves working directly with customers and internal teams to manage data implementation processes, ensure data accuracy, and optimize the onboarding experience. The position requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand both technical data structures and the expected functionality of The Mortgage Office (TMO) platform from an end-user perspective.

Job Duties Include:

1. Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse customer sources into TMO target systems.

2. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on data migration projects; manage project timelines and customer communications.

3. Gather and document data requirements through direct collaboration with clients and internal teams.

4. Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data for data conversion and validation purposes.

5. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data integrity and successful customer onboarding experience.

6. Maintain detailed documentation of data mappings, conversion logic, and project status.

7. Work with internal teams to ensure customer data supports TMO functionality and aligns with the expected user experience and business processes.

8. Monitor and troubleshoot data integration processes, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

9. Manage multiple data conversion projects simultaneously with a high level of organization and attention to detail.

10. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the data integration lifecycle.

11. Stay updated with best practices in data integration and project management.

Skills & Requirements:

1. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.

2. Experience working with ETL processes for CSV and Excel-based data sources.

3. Proven ability to manage and deliver complex data conversion projects in a customer-facing role.

4. Excellent project management skills to manage project plans, timelines, and client expectations.

5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

6. Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

7. Ability to understand and map customer business requirements and translate them into functional TMO configurations.

8. Familiarity with data profiling, cleansing, and validation best practices.

9. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and manipulation.

10. Basic knowledge of Python or Excel Power Queries is a plus but not required.

11. Experience in consulting or software implementation is a plus.

12. Industry experience in private lending, mortgage software, or financial services is preferred.

13. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
