Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A special education teacher opportunity is available for a middle school emotional support program designed to assist students with emotional and behavioral challenges. This role involves working closely with a structured caseload, providing individualized support to foster positive educational and social outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support within the emotional support program.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a supportive learning environment.
- Assist students with toileting and personal care when necessary, ensuring comfort and dignity.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid LBS1 certification required.
- Experience working with middle school-aged students in an emotional support setting preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable providing personal care assistance as needed.
Position Details:
- Contract duration: ASAP through May 22, 2026.
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, approximately 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
- Onsite work at the designated middle school facility.
