Chemical Technician
Location: Quinton, AL
Estimate Start date: 06/01/2024.
Duration 1 Year
Skills and Responsibilities
BS degree in Chemistry or other field of science with a MINIMUM of 12 semester hours in Chemistry required.
• Prior experience and knowledge of boiler/water analysis preferred.
• Previous work experience in a water treatment plant preferred.
• Experience and competency in the use, calibration and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation/equipment; knowledge of proper analytical methods and techniques.
• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical parts and repair is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in production of deionized water is preferred.
This position requires call-out and overtime as needed and working a 10 hour day. Candidates must be available for evenings or nights, overtime, weekends, and holiday work as required.
