Calling all Microbiology enthusiasts! Now hiring an entry-level Microbiology Lab Analyst for our premier client in Salt Lake City, UT!
Pay: $21/hr
Hours: 9am-5pm, M-F
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84123
Position Type: Temp to hire
Job Summary: Assist with entry-level microbiology tasks in a lab setting.
Responsibilities
· Prep work for microbiology testing
· Testing water and doing other environmental monitoring in a hooded environment at a benchtop
· Incubation, membrane filtration, and test preparation
· Colony enumeration
· Utilizing a manifold
· Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Bachelors Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
· Experience, interest, and/or classwork in microbiology
· 6+ months of production lab experience
· No allergies to latex or antibiotics
· No colorblindness, and no long nails that could puncture gloves
