CIVIL ENGINEER

- Lead site and civil infrastructure design from concept through construction support
- Produce engineered deliverables, including plans, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve design and field challenges while ensuring code compliance.

NESC Staffing is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in site and infrastructure design to join a collaborative engineering team supporting a variety of development projects for one of our esteemed clients.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex engineering solutions and support work from planning through construction. Some international travel may be required.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and design narratives
- Develop site layouts, grading plans, drainage calculations, and roadway designs
- Design water distribution and wastewater collection systems
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to master development plans and comprehensive engineering studies
- Review construction shop drawings for compliance with project specifications
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and construction challenges
- Maintain technical excellence through ongoing professional development
- Follow all company and regulatory health and safety requirements
- Perform additional duties as the project requires.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 5–8 years of experience focused on site and infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively
Travel requirement:
- Possible international travel based on project needs
