Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing entertainment firm to fill a temporary Staff Accountant Consultant position in Manhattan. We are searching for someone with strong general accounting experience and strong Excel/reporting skills. As of right now, this position will be an open-ended temporary position. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries for income, expenses, and allocations

  • Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts across multiple entities

  • Manage intercompany transactions and ensure accuracy

  • Assist with monthly cash flow forecasting and variance resolution

  • Support quarterly and annual tax documentation

  • Perform treasury functions including wire/ACH setups and Positive Pay reporting

  • Contribute to internal and external audits

  • Participate in special projects and reporting tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory

  • 3+ years of general accounting experience

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups)

  • Experience with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion or NetSuite a plus

Employment Type/Details:

  • Consulting/Temporary, open-ended duration

  • 40 hour work week with flexible schedule (9 - 6 PM, 8:30 - 5:30, etc)

  • Will require 3 days in office and 2 days remote

$30-40/hr



Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
