Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist is needed to provide support across a K-12 school district in Chicago, IL for the entire 2025-2026 school year. This part-time contract position runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The psychologist will primarily focus on supporting students due for reevaluation, including those placed out-of-district. Caseload details and specific locations will be confirmed closer to the summer, as the district finalizes student needs. This opportunity offers the chance to work districtwide, impacting diverse student populations by conducting assessments and providing insight to help develop appropriate educational plans.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Psychology
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills to support special education eligibility decisions
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and external agencies
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Comfortable managing a mixed caseload across multiple locations, as assigned

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychological evaluations for reevaluation purposes
  • Analyzing data and providing detailed reports to inform intervention plans
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
  • Participating in meetings and offering recommendations for appropriate educational placements

This contract position offers the chance to engage with a diverse student body across the district and play a critical role in shaping educational outcomes through specialized psychological services.
