Looking for a rewarding way to spend your school breaks? Do you enjoy working with kids and being part of a creative, energetic team?


Miami Children’s Museum is searching for enthusiastic Assistant Camp Teachers to help bring our camp programs to life! You’ll support the Lead Teacher, jump into activities, and help campers ages 5–14 explore the world through play, art, science, and more. Camps are held during Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ teacher planning days and holiday breaks—perfect for anyone looking for a seasonal role filled with fun and learning.


What You’ll Do

  • Team up with the Lead Teacher to run daily camp activities.
  • Engage with campers during lessons, games, and transitions.
  • Keep the camp environment safe, clean, and welcoming.
  • Help supervise campers during activities, lunch, and free time.
  • Be a positive role model and cheerleader for every child.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Previous experience with children (camp, school, childcare, or volunteering) preferred.
  • Energetic, reliable, and team-oriented.
  • Willing to learn and take direction.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
