Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Boulder, CO, this full-time special education teaching opportunity at an elementary school offers the chance to work with preschool-aged students in dedicated AM and PM classrooms. The role spans from January 5 to April 24, 2026, providing contract employment during the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and support to two preschool classrooms, each with 18 students.
- Manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for a caseload of 9 to 11 students receiving Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) services.
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to students individual needs.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure compliance with Colorado IEP regulations.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress monitoring for students on the caseload.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current ECSE Colorado license required.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
- Minimum of two years classroom teaching experience.
- Familiarity with Colorado IEP forms and procedures.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage case files and collaborate with families and colleagues.
