Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A paraprofessional position is available to support elementary students in a contract role running from November 24, 2025, to June 4, 2026. The position requires 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and is focused within an elementary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional plans
- Support students with specialized needs or learning challenges
- Facilitate small group or one-on-one student activities
- Help maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Monitor and report on student progress and behavior
Qualifications:
- Must be highly qualified through one of the following: Successful completion of the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Para Exam Possession of at least 60 college credits (transcripts required)
- Resume and documentation proving highly qualified status required for submission
- Experience working in elementary educational settings preferred
- Ability to follow established procedures and work collaboratively with teaching staff
Location:
- Position located in Hopkins, MN, within an elementary school environment
Additional Information:
- After 120 days of contracting, there is an opportunity for direct hire with the district
