About Us
We’re Wytebox, an early-stage AI startup tackling one of the most painful problems in modern work: the bureaucracy of SaaS and compliance busywork. Our platform transforms fragmented, buried project knowledge into clear, accessible insights—empowering teams to spend less time documenting and more time building.
We’ve launched our first product, have our first customers, and are in the process of raising our Seed round. This is a unique opportunity to join a founding leadership team before the company scales.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Lead Software Engineer who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and build the next version of Wytebox. You’ll set the technical direction, contribute directly to the codebase, and help us scale our AI-driven platform.
This role is best suited for someone who:

Wants to own the architecture and shape the product roadmap.

Sees the value in joining a startup pre-funding, with significant equity upside.

May be in transition (e.g., recently left a role with a severance package) and ready to double down on the most disruptive technical evolution of our lifetimes.
What You’ll Do

Lead architecture and development of core backend services.

Build and optimize AI-driven features using Next.js and Google Cloud (GCP/Vertex ML).

Implement robust security and encryption into our platform.

Collaborate directly with the CEO and founding team on product strategy.

Hire and mentor future engineers as the team grows post-funding.
Skills & Experience

Strong professional experience with Next.js, Python, and TypeScript.

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Vertex ML.

Background in encryption/security for SaaS or enterprise platforms.

Startup experience or strong desire to work in a fast-paced, zero-bureaucracy environment.

Proven ability to ship production-quality code independently.
