Position Summary
NOVVA Data Centers is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficientICT Managerto lead and manage ICT systems focused onDivision 27 (Communications)andDivision 28 (Electronic Safety and Security)design and construction. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing ICT infrastructure across multiple construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and NOVVAs technology vision.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in ICT design for large-scale facilities, particularly in mission-critical environments, and be comfortable leading construction coordination efforts with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage thedesign, documentation, and implementation of ICT systemsunder CSI Divisions 27 and 28, including structured cabling, OSP, AV, access control, CCTV, other low-voltage systems, and support the BMS teams and their systems.
- Lead and coordinate theICT design processwith architects, engineers, consultants, and general contractors during planning and construction phases.
- Review and approve construction documentation, includingRFPs, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, and as-builts.
- Serve as the owners representative forICT infrastructure deliveryacross new and existing NOVVA Data Center facilities.
- Develop and maintainstandards, guidelines, and templatesfor ICT systems to ensure consistency across all projects.
- Perform on-site inspections to verify adherence to design intent, quality standards, and timelines.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and milestones related to ICT infrastructure components.
- Interface with technology vendors and integrators to ensure compliance with NOVVA specifications and performance criteria.
- Support commissioning and acceptance testing of ICT systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise on industry trends, codes, and technologies related to Divisions 27 and 28.
- Partner closely with NOVVA design, contruction, controls, mission critical, network, security, and IT teams to ensure their needs and standards are met.
- Stay current on industry trends, codes, and best practices for Divisions 27 and 28 and act as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in ICT systems design, construction, or project management within mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers, hospitals, or large campuses).
- In-depth knowledge ofCSI Division 27 and 28standards and technologies.
- Proven ability to read and interpretconstruction documents, MEP drawings, and specifications.
- Strong understanding ofstructured cabling systems (TIA/EIA, BICSI standards)and electronic security system design.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience working with general contractors, consultants, and technology vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as RCDD, PMP, CTS, or similar.
- Familiarity with data center operations and infrastructure requirements.
- Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, and construction/project management platforms (e.g., Procore).
- Experience with commissioning, QA/QC processes, and documentation for ICT systems.
