Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support educational success as a Paraprofessional in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week, from November 24, 2025, to June 4, 2026. Located in the Anoka area, the role focuses on providing essential support to students within an elementary school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in delivering instructional support to elementary students
- Support classroom management and student engagement
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
- Monitor student progress and communicate with teaching staff
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Must be highly qualified through one of the following: Passing the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (MN Para Educator Exam), or Completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with educators and students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience working with elementary-age children preferred
Additional Information:
- Assignment is based on a caseload within an elementary school setting
- Candidates must attach both a resume and proof of highly qualified status to be considered
- After 120 days of contracting, candidates may be eligible for direct hire within the district
- Location: Anoka, MN area elementary school
