ER Nurse Educator

  • Shift: M-F, 5x8, Varied hours
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
  • Licenses: NV RN license required prior to start
  • Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS. NIHSS required. TNCC, ENPC, or TCAR preferred.

5 years of RN experience, including minimum 3 years in an ER and 2 years of education/teaching experience required. BSN required.

Job Duties:\n\n-Creating orientation plans for new RNs to the department\n-Weekly progress meetings with new hires\n-End of orientation meeting\n-Collection of competencies\n-Evaluation of e-learning compliance\n-Reconciliation of all outstanding paperwork\n-Collaborating with staff educators on unit based projects\n-Assisting with professional development classes\n-Assisting leadership with new role outs and initiatives
