Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available at an elementary school in Denver, CO, starting January 5 through April 24, 2026. This contract position will focus on delivering early childhood special education (ECSE) services in both AM and PM preschool classrooms with approximately 18 students per class.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing lesson plans tailored to preschool-aged students
- Case managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for 9 to 11 students receiving ECSE services
- Maintaining compliance with Colorado IEP forms and regulations
- Collaborating with school staff to support student learning and development
Qualifications:
- Current ECSE Colorado teaching license
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required
- Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience in special education
- Familiarity with Colorado IEP documentation and processes
- Ability to work onsite full-time at the elementary school location
