A K-12 school in Reading, PA is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contracted position lasting the full school year. This role is ideal for professionals skilled in educational assessment and student support, prepared to work within a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling support and crisis intervention as needed
- Analyze data to inform instruction and behavioral interventions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with school policies and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing and evaluation techniques
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively
