Position Type: Seasonal Start Date: May 2026

Hiring Wage Range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour DOQ

Full Wage Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour DOQ

Summary

The Aquatics Concessions Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Concessions area. Responsible for a wide variety of duties including, but not limited to, supervising and training Concessions Attendants, ordering concession supplies, preparing food orders, and handling food sales. This position requires varying hours including weekends and holidays.


Qualifications - Education, Experience and Training

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to work in a public and professional manner.

The individual must show maturity and demonstrate the ability to accurately use addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, and decimals. Must show proficiency with the Park District computer system. CPR, First Aid and AED Certification required and if not certified, must become certified.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Adhere to daily assignments and responsibilities from the Aquatics Manager and Shift Manager.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the concessions area.
  • Assign opening and closing tasks to concession attendants.
  • Maintain accurate records of concessions inventory and purchases.
  • Order concession supplies, products, and inventory as needed.
  • Contact vendors for equipment maintenance or product orders as needed.
  • Report all unsafe conditions to the Aquatic Manager or Shift Manager.
  • Complete all assigned cleaning duties.
  • Organize and clean the cash area.
  • Gain knowledge of the established Emergency Action Plan.
  • Report on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Record inventory deductions accurately.
  • Practice and follow all District Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.
