Position Summary
The Customized Learning Solutions team delivers ongoing training and support to key partners, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Experience Stores, and other strategic consumer channels. Collaborating closely with the internal learning strategy team, the Instructional Designer will develop and execute comprehensive learning solutions that align with our America’s sales and delivery strategies.
This role leads the design, development, and deployment of large-scale educational initiatives—including national events, e-learning, virtual training, and in-person courses—enhancing channel relationships and elevating position in the marketplace. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who leverages diverse learning modalities, works independently, and partners cross-functionally to deliver customized training solutions tailored to specific account needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design, manage, and deliver instructional content to internal and external stakeholders.
Leverage multimedia formats to enhance engagement and learning retention.
Translate business performance goals into targeted learning solutions (e.g., e-learning, instructor-led training, product workshops).
Develop and manage account-specific training programs in collaboration with channel operations and external carrier partners.
Use consumer and business insights to identify training opportunities and enhance effectiveness.
Measure training impact using data to propose strategies that drive incremental sales.
Act as the primary training liaison for the Channel Operations team, supporting both execution and strategic planning.
Provide field support for local training initiatives and sales activities.
Create presentations and rapid development assets tailored to brand guidelines.
Maintain expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), Articulate Storyline, Photoshop, and Captivate.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred with 6+ years of instructional design or training experience (or 8+ years with a high school diploma/equivalent).
Experience in training development and delivery, especially in telecom, wireless, or related industries.
At least 2 years in sales leadership and/or training organizations; account management experience a plus.
Proficient with Articulate Storyline, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and related tools.
Familiarity with e-learning tools such as Captivate, Camtasia, Flash, and HTML5; video production is a bonus.
Understanding of Adult Learning Theory, Kirkpatrick’s Evaluation Model, and Go-to-Market training strategies.
