Summary
We seek passionate, patient, and dedicated individuals to join our team. We have an opening for
a Part-Time Teacher Assistant. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating
environment for infants and young children, supporting their developmental milestones through
interactive activities, individualized attention, and loving care.
Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities and lesson plans.
- Provide nurturing, loving, and caring support to infants and young children.
- Establish positive and supportive relationships with infants, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe and assess each child's development, document progress, and communicate regularly with parents.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and center policies.
- Support children's emotional and social development through positive interactions.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and general care of infants and toddlers as needed.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to foster a supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA (Child Development Associate) credential preferred for Infant Teacher.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of infant development, health, and safety practices.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
