Contract opportunity on 2nd shift (4pm-12am) with a dynamic Analytical R&D team as an Associate Scientist I or II, contributing to innovative pharmaceutical development through hands-on HPLC testing, Empower software expertise, and essential stability studies - all within a GMP-compliant, quality-driven environment.

responsibilities:
- Perform analytical testing and support drug product manufacturing with limited supervision, including HPLC/UPLC analysis, method transfers, and stability testing in compliance with cGMP, FDA, and EH&S guidelines.
- Independently operate lab equipment, prepare reagents and solutions, and maintain accurate lab records, while supporting activities like blend uniformity, equipment calibration, and sample preparation.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, contribute to project timelines, and assist in training, ensuring all lab work aligns with SOPs, STPs, and corporate safety and quality standards.
qualifications:
Required:
- Pharmaceutical R&D industry experience
- Hands-on experience with HPLC
- Hands-on experience with Empower software (or similar chromatography data systems such as Chromeleon, OpenLab, or LabSolutions)
- Experience with stability testing in a GMP-regulated environment
