Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Specialist with expertise in HVAC design within MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing innovative and energy-efficient HVAC solutions while ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop HVAC systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Conduct load calculations and energy modeling to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
  • Prepare detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software.
  • Oversee ductwork design and layout to ensure proper airflow and system functionality.
  • Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient solutions for HVAC systems.
  • Manage projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure installation meets design specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HVAC system design within MEP projects.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for design and modeling purposes.
  • Familiarity with load calculations and energy modeling techniques.
  • Experience in ductwork design and system design principles.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a plus.
