Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Oneonta, AL is seeking a qualified professional to serve as a School Psychologist or School Psychometrist for the current school year under a contract arrangement. This role involves providing psychological services that support students academic, social, and emotional development within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments to evaluate student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individual education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Offer consultation and support to teachers to promote positive classroom environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist or School Psychometrist
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseloads and work independently
