Job Description:As an Enrollment Specialist in a healthcare facility, you will be responsible for guiding patients through the enrollment process for insurance plans, healthcare programs, and financial assistance. They verify eligibility, review applications for accuracy, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, they serve as a resource for patients and families by explaining benefits, resolving enrollment issues, and coordinating with healthcare providers and insurance representatives.Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with completing enrollment applications and verifying eligibility for healthcare programs, insurance plans, or financial assistance.
- Review and process documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of enrollment forms.
- Provide guidance to patients and families on available healthcare coverage options and explain benefits clearly.
- Collaborate with insurance providers, healthcare staff, and patients to resolve enrollment issues and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with healthcare and/or insurance role
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and navigate multiple software systems
