Assoc. Director, US Equity Derivatives

Finance: Scotia Capital (USA), Inc. seeks Associate Director, US Equity Derivatives in New York, NY to be responsible for all aspects of the US Corporate Equity Derivative book, including sales, structuring, pricing, execution, funding, risk management, legal, compliance, client management/onboarding and all operational pieces. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: working with Global Capital Markets and financial products including working with derivatives booking systems and Bloomberg; working with Corporate and Investment Banking divisions including researching and identifying potential clients which progress into transactions; utilizing experience with risk appetite and working with key approval centers; coordinating product development initiatives for core Equity Derivatives products with control groups and trading desks; utilizing knowledge of financial regulations including Dodd-Frank Act to ensure trading and operating within regulatory framework; and utilizing experience with internal trading and technology systems, including peak/k2, risk monitor, ICARUS, AlgoX, Cerberus, and Droit to ensure risks are correctly captured and adherence to internal policies. Offered salary is between $225,000 and $225,000 per year, 40 hours per week. FINRA Series SIE certification required.
