We are a professional and fast-paced CPA firm located in Venice, Florida, providing tax, accounting, and advisory services to individuals and businesses. During tax season, our front desk becomes the hub of client communications, scheduling, and document intake. We are seeking a reliable and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team for the upcoming tax season.
Position Overview
The Front Desk Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate has prior experience working in a CPA firm, is comfortable managing a high volume of calls, and understands the basics of tax-season workflow. Strong organization, professionalism, and communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and manage front-desk traffic in a professional, friendly manner
- Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule appointments and manage the firm’s calendar
- Assist with intake and tracking of tax documents (digital and paper)
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Provide basic information about the firm’s services and processes
- Support staff with light administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience working in a CPA firm, tax office,
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of tax season workflow and terminology
- Proficient with computers, printers/scanners, and general office software
- Professional and dependable
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time hours during tax season (mid-January through mid-April)
- Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays as needed
- Competitive seasonal pay based on experience
