We are currently seeking a Clinical Research Scientist for a prominent Personal Care and Cosmetics client of ours. This position is in NY, NY. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay: 65.00-70.92/hr.
- Length of Assignment: 6 months to start with potential for extension or conversion.
- Manager is open to candidates willing to relocate at their own expense.
- Hybrid role: 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
- Interview process: 2-3 interviews, final interview will include a presentation of clinical research data (will be presenting to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders in this role so this will be to ensure that they are strong communicators with strong presentation to both types of audiences ).
- Structure of team – HM is in product development and clinical research – this role is for the clinical research branch of the team.
- Discussing new products and launches from the concept the positioning – this includes determining what kind of product this will be (anti-aging, suncare, brightening, etc.).
- Clinical arm looks at the new product and determines whether the claim is supported by scientific evidence the benefits it claims and designs the study for the clinical research partners– who is the demographic to prove the claims, what demographic should be included in the study, what is the study that needs to be put into place to prove claims before launch date
- Presenting findings to clinical and nonclinical teams to support or decline terms of the potential launch – If research supports claims, presentation is taken over by marketing to design and launch the campaign.
- Willingness and eagerness to learn and pivot – will bounce between antiaging, suncare, and different areas of skincare.
- Innovative approach – looks for alternative ways to improve and optimize – how can we do this better?
