The History-Social Science Department seeks a one-semester sabbatical replacement to teach three sections of US History in the Middle School. This candidate should exhibit deep knowledge of United States History within a global context, understand the “how” and “why” of History and the impact of History on identity formation, and be ready to contribute to a larger program that understands History’s impact on the present and the future. This teacher will work closely with departmental colleagues and their co-teacher and report to the Middle School Head.

- Castilleja uses a competitive salary scale which takes into account the range of experience, education and skill level. The prorated salary will be based on a yearly one that ranges from $82,700 to $125,000
Key Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience and/or commensurate professional experience
- Proficiency with technology in and out of the classroom
- Undergraduate degree in relevant field of study
