Technical Advisor, Dental Lab | Orange County, CA


Full-Time | Up to $35 per Hour | Leadership Role with Growth Potential

We are hiring a skilled Technical Advisor to lead daily support operations in our dental laboratory. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, advanced dental knowledge, and a passion for solving problems. You will be supervising case flow, supporting dentists and internal teams, and ensuring all technical cases meet lab standards and timelines.


This is a hands-on leadership role that blends case management, client service, and team coaching in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.


What Youll Do

  • Supervise and support a team of technical representatives across multiple departments
  • Review incoming cases for accuracy and assign to appropriate production teams
  • Communicate directly with dentists regarding product options, case adjustments, or troubleshooting
  • Assist chairside and in-lab with custom shades, adjustments, and clinical support as needed
  • Ensure case documentation and updates are logged accurately in the lab software
  • Monitor high-priority cases and hold reports, including late or implant cases needing review
  • Coach and train internal staff on lab systems, safety procedures, and technical workflows
  • Collaborate with implant specialists to ensure proper codes, parts, and services are used
  • Perform final quality checks and pre-QC reviews across departments to maintain high standards
  • Handle onboarding for new or reactivated accounts and support other cross-functional projects


What Were Looking For

  • 5+ years of dental lab experience, including case coordination and customer communication
  • Strong understanding of dental and implant terminology and workflows
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Proficiency with lab software, case tracking, and digital documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize with a sense of urgency
  • Confident working independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Comfortable speaking with dentists and problem-solving in real time
