Position Overview:
ReThink Microschools is seeking a Teacher Facilitator (Para-Pro) to guide middle and high school students through their online math and science curriculum while providing engaging, inquiry-based group lessons and hands-on learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a background in special education (SPED) and experience supporting neurodiverse learners, including those with autism. Candidates with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)skills or experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
This is a contract 1099 position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and program growth.
Responsibilities:

Facilitate and support students’ progress through individualized online math and science programs.

Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons and projects that build critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs and styles.

Collaborate with the ReThink team to integrate social-emotional learning and executive function strategies into daily instruction.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and academic support.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.

Communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student progress and support needs.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field (required).

Valid teaching credential or relevant experience (preferred).

Background or certification in Special Education (SPED) strongly preferred.

RBT certification or experience using ABA-informed strategies a plus.

Experience teaching or facilitating learning in math and/or science for grades 5–12.

Comfortable guiding students in an online and blended learning environment.

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

Passion for supporting neurodiverse learners and fostering a growth mindset.

Must have a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Must be able to pass a background check.
