This opportunity is for paraprofessionals supporting elementary school students aged 4 to 11 in an engaging classroom environment. The position is onsite in Johannesburg, CA, with an expected caseload of 10 to 16 students. The role is a contract assignment lasting from December 1, 2025, to May 28, 2026, with weekly hours ranging from 27 to 30.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to elementary students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist lead teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
• Support the individual educational needs of students, adapting to diverse learning styles.
• Monitor and report on student progress to instructional staff.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure consistency in student support.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in elementary education settings.
• Ability to work effectively with children aged 4 to 11 in small class sizes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Patience and adaptability to meet varied student needs.
• Availability to work onsite throughout the specified contract period.
