The Role:

We're looking for a hands-on, strategic Controller to take ownership of our financial operations across both EPPM and our affiliated construction business. This is a vital role with visibility across the entire company. You'll help shape financial strategy, guide decisions, and support our next stage of growth. We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and who can keep the books in order while helping build the future.


What You'll Do:

  • Own all day-to-day accounting and finance functions: budgeting, forecasting, reporting, AP/AR, payroll, general ledger
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to help leadership make smart decisions
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Develop and refine internal processes and controls as we scale
  • Partner closely with ownership to shape financial strategy and track KPIs
  • Lead HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, and employee records
  • Collaborate with team members on tech improvements and system enhancements
  • Keep things compliant, accurate, and audit-ready at all times
  • Assist in maintaining and improving the company's IT systems

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar (CPA a bonus, not a must)
  • At least 3 years in an accounting/finance role, preferably in construction, real estate, or property management
  • Solid understanding of accounting software; experience with construction ERPs or property management systems is a PLUS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to accuracy
  • Excel skills and data-savviness
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to also think strategically
  • Strong communicator who's comfortable working directly with company leadership
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and excited by growth!
