Job Description

At geocgi we pride ourselves on not losing our focus. We started out and remain GIS experts (or geeks. . . depending on your perspective). Since 2006, we’ve evolved into a world-class and world-wide service provider of multiple disciplines. We are a talented, hardworking group that share values and characteristics that drive client, professional, and personal success. Geocgi is looking for a GIS Manager to be a part of our team delivering Installation Geospatial Information and Services (IGI&S) support to the United States Marine Corps Base Camp Butler (MCB Butler) onsite in Okinawa, Japan. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our Enterprise GIS, spearheading data development initiatives, ensuring adherence to Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure and Environment (SDSFIE) standards, and implementing stringent quality verification processes. You'll play a key role in the maintenance of geospatial data within our enterprise GIS implementation, contribute to the upkeep of our geodatabase, and apply your profound technical and programmatic GIS knowledge to every challenge. Furthermore, you'll be the primary point of contact for on-site client coordination and staff tasking, ensuring project success and fostering strong client relationships.

This position is full-time and required to be on-site at United States Marine Corps Base Camp Butler (MCB Butler) in Okinawa, Japan
