About the Role
Bluegrass Trimlight is looking for dependable, detail-oriented contractors to install our patented permanent outdoor LED lighting systems. This is a part-time, contractor-based role. You’ll be working on rooftops and architectural features to bring year-round lighting to homes and businesses across the Tri-State Area.
Role Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
As a 1099 installer, you’ll run your own show. You’ll handle professional Trimlight Installations with precision and care, while enjoying the freedom to set your own schedule. You’re responsible for your own taxes and tools, and we provide the projects, training, and support. This is ideal for skilled, self-driven individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship and want flexibility without sacrificing income.
️ Responsibilities
- Install Trimlight systems on residential and commercial properties
- Mount aluminum channels and run low-voltage wiring along rooflines
- Use hand and power tools (drills, tape measures)
- Safely work on ladders and rooftops for extended periods
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers and team leads
✅ Requirements
- Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
- Experience with basic tools and trim work
- Ability to work in attic spaces and pull low-voltage wire
- Previous experience in construction, siding, gutters, or electrical work is a plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must have Van, SUV or Truck that can carry ladders
- Must be available for flexible scheduling based on project needs
