We are looking to add an experienced HVAC Lead Installation Technician to our growing team. This is a hybrid role that combines lead installation work with service and maintenance responsibilities, ensuring consistent, year-round work. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality installations, can lead jobs efficiently, and is comfortable supporting service and maintenance needs. This role is also provided a company vehicle.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Lead Installation Technician Hybrid is responsible for leading and performing high-quality installations of residential heating and cooling systems, while also supporting service and maintenance work as needed to ensure consistent, year-round workload. This role requires strong technical expertise, professionalism in customer communication, and the ability to efficiently manage installation projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate is a skilled HVAC Lead Installation Technician who can install all system types, assist customers with understanding Green Valley Cooling & Heating products and services, and confidently step into service or maintenance responsibilities when installation demand fluctuates. This role would participate in our competitive on-call schedule (we guarantee the best you have heard!) Qualifications:

  • High school or GED diploma required
  • Minimum 3 years or more of experience required
  • Great communication skills
  • Must obtain EPA Type II Certification within the first 60-days of employment
  • NATE certification a plus
  • Background check and drug test required
  • Authorized to work in United States
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Must own tools used in the installation of HVAC equipment
  • Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest time in install training seminars and classes
  • Be a team player


Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
  • Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances and extreme weather conditions
  • Climb ladders
  • Operate service vehicles

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Saturday availability as needed (rotates)

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Pay schedule is every 2 weeks


Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)


Experience:

  • HVAC: 3 years (Required)


License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
