What You’ll Do:
- Provide exceptional service to our customers while processing a variety of banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Travel between designated branches to support staffing needs and maintain consistent service levels.
- Build rapport with customers and identify opportunities to refer bank products and services that meet their needs.
- Uphold compliance and security standards to protect both customers and the bank.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to handle cash responsibly.
- Flexibility to travel between branches as scheduled.
- Previous cash handling or banking experience preferred but not required—we provide training!
Job Overview
Provides exceptional customer service and basic product information through transactions including a variety of savings, checking and loan account transactions, as well as money orders and official checks. Utilizes the Walden Savings Bank Sales and Service Model to identify cross-sell opportunities and refer customers to appropriate business partners.

???? Locations: Floats between Regions (Gardiner, Walden, Montgomery), (Middlehope, New Windsor, Cornwall & Washingtonville), (Pine Bush, Circleville & Florida)
???? Schedule: 30-40 hours per week; Monday – Thursday 8:15 am – 4:45 pm; Friday 8:15 am – 5:15 pm; Alternating Saturdays 8:45 am – 1:15 pm.
Pay Grade - $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Work is typically indoors in climate-controlled shared work environment with moderate noise.
This position primarily involves sedentary work with minimal physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. The role may occasionally require the ability to navigate stairs in emergency situations. Routine use of standard office equipment such as telephones, copiers, calculators, and computers expected, with computer-based tasks typically performed for an average of 6-8 hours per day, as needed.
The ability to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Travel may be necessary and could involve various modes of transportation, including driving or riding in an automobile, using commercial airlines, rental vehicles, or public transportation, and staying in public lodging facilities.
