Who We Are

PCMI (Policy Claim Management International) is a fast-growing, leading provider of integrated software for Extended Warranty Management and Finance and Insurance (F&I) administration. We are a SaaS company that operates in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our 3 teams located in the US, Poland, and Thailand work collaboratively around the clock to build our PCRS platform that automates the full administration lifecycle of all extended warranties, F&I products, and service contracts for our customers.

What You’ll Do

As the Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development and management of on-prem and Azure platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and monitor Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Implement and manage hybrid cloud setups, including Azure Arc and on-premises integrations.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform, and PowerShell.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Enforce security best practices using Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC 2, NIST) and manage identity using Azure AD, RBAC, and Conditional Access.
  • Conduct system performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting for Azure-hosted services.
  • Proactively identify potential issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Design and implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies using Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and Availability Zones.
  • Monitor Azure usage and optimize cost through reserved instances, rightsizing, and budget alerts.
  • Provide cost estimates and input into forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to API developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

What You’ll Need to Join Our Team

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Azure Platform Expertise (5–7+ years)
  • Deep experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure-based solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with core Azure services: Virtual Machines (VMs), Virtual Networks (VNets), NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Azure Firewall.
  • Strong grasp of Azure governance: subscriptions, resource groups, management groups, RBAC, Azure Policy.
  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation (3–5+ years)
    • Proficient in tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI.
  • Experience building reusable automation modules and integrating with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Practical experience implementing security controls and compliance requirements (e.g., using Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault).
  • Experience with identity and access management using Azure Active Directory, MFA, Conditional Access, and role-based access control.
  • Experience integrating Azure with on-premises infrastructure (e.g., ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Azure Arc, AD Connect).
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level environments with high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Deep familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and custom dashboards.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure performance issues.
  • Experience contributing to or leading the design of cloud infrastructure blueprints, architecture reviews, or cloud strategy.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable infrastructure solutions.
