Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a paraprofessional position supporting elementary students in an onsite role from December 1, 2025, through May 28, 2026. The assignment focuses on a 1:1 caseload, working closely with children aged 4 to 11 in an elementary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to elementary-aged students in a classroom environment
- Assist with instructional activities under the direction of classroom teachers
- Support social and emotional development while fostering a positive learning atmosphere
- Help implement educational plans tailored to each student's needs
Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional in an elementary school setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with young students
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with classroom teachers and staff
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
Location:
- Onsite assignment in Ridgecrest, CA (Trona area)
Schedule:
- Approximately 27 to 30 hours per week during the contract period
