Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer specializing in Public Works or Transportation to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, planning, and implementation of transportation or public works projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing community safety and mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee civil engineering projects including roads, walkways, and parks.
- Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for public works projects.
- Collaborate with government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software for designing and drafting plans.
- Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and recommendations to clients and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- EIT or PE license preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
